Randi has been working in the accounting world for 30 years. She is active in the community with the Rotary Club of Mechanicsville (Past President), Hanover Safe Place, where she is the Treasurer. Also with ABU, LLC, where she is also the Treasurer. Randi has two beautiful daughters, one currently attending and the other having just graduated from JMU! The ocean and music while spending time with her family, friends and 5 dogs is what she loves most!
Sherri Rue Eggleston
Tax & Accounting
Sherri is a certified tax preparer with 20 years experience in the field. She loves going to brunch in the city on the weekends and rooting for the newly named Washington Commanders (though she’s not sure if she likes the new name). She is married to her best friend and has three beautiful daughters!
Melanie Butler
Tax
Melanie has 35+ years in the accounting profession and was named a Top Female Executive in honor of outstanding professional excellence and dedication! She is an Osher Lifelong Learning Institute Member at the University of Richmond AND a licensed Notary. In her spare time, she enjoy long walks, a nice glass of wine, good music (60s through 80s for sure) and great food…which Richmond is known for! She has three beautiful children and two loving dogs!
Barbara Thompson
Payroll
Barbara has been in the payroll processing world for 20 years but outside of the office she loves her two daughters and going to the beach. She is an animal lover that enjoys gardening and growing flowers in her spare time.
Sarah-Davis Abbott
Accounting & Tax
Certified Notary
Sarah-Davis graduated from VCU and has 10 years experience in tax and accounting. The Outer Banks and Rappahannock River are her favorite places to travel with friends and family. She loves crafting and gardening and spending time outside with her Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Luna!
Amy Creech
Payroll
Amy has been in the accounting world for over 20 years and started with Rue Ward & Co in Fall of 2022! We are so happy to have her as part of our team. Being a mom of four kids, Amy loves spending time with them and in her spare time she keeps her wonderful home organized and clean for the family.
David Owens
Tax & Accounting
David joins us having 25+ years of experience in the Accounting field. He enjoys time with his beautiful family which include three children and their dog! He enjoys listening to live music and being outside with family and friends in his free time.
